Dayton Community Food Bank

We are the home of Dayton Community Food Bank.  Open to all in need 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Free Community Garden

The garden is planted and it is almost harvet time.  Everyone is welcome to pick the veggies - and weeds - in the un-fenced area.
The fenced area is for the private individuals.  This space is available free for anyone contact Orla at the church office (503) 864-2474 in the spring to reserve your space.

Thank you to everyone worked worked up the garden, planted the veggies and especially those who are pulling the weeds.

Movies are outside on the lawn beginning at dark. Bring your blanket or chair we will supply the rest.  Hot dog roast begins about 1 hour before - approx 7:30 pm. Lemonade and gourmet popcorn available during the movie.  Everything is free courtesy of Dayton Together Coalition and Dayton First Baptist Church.

Morocco - here we come

A group including Pastor Steve, Dave Hakola, Karla Harmon, Kristi Harmon, Kelli Christenson, Jericho Brown, Denny Horst, Nick Daggett will be heading to Morocco in March to help build homes destroyed in an earthquake 7 years ago. Please pray for everyone as they travel through Spain to Morocco.

This is an opportunity to spread God's love through a practical demonstration to the people of Morocco.

Missions dinner

Wow, what a great time. Our social committee cooked a terrific chicken dinner and the silent auction raised over $2000 for the kids who are going to Morocco. The kids acted as servers and did a great job. Everyone had a great time - good job!
